Bonanza privacy policy

Bonanza is a personal app that runs only on the Mac of its owner. This policy says what it does with Google user data.

What Bonanza reads

Bonanza asks for one Google permission: gmail.readonly, which lets it read email in the owner's own Gmail account. It searches only for messages from a short list of known brokerage senders. It cannot send, change, or delete email.

How Bonanza uses it

Bonanza reads the text of those messages on the owner's Mac. A model that runs on the same Mac turns each message into a draft transaction. The owner reviews each draft. Bonanza uses Google user data only to give this feature to the owner.

Where the data goes

The data stays on the owner's Mac. Bonanza does not send Google user data, or any financial data, to any server, to any other person, or to any cloud model. It does not sell data, share data, or use it for advertising. No person reads the data.

How it is kept

The Google sign-in token is kept in the macOS Keychain on the owner's Mac. The app data is kept in files on the same Mac, which uses FileVault disk encryption.

How to remove access

The owner can remove Bonanza's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, and can delete the app data by deleting its folder on the Mac.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Bonanza's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
